Salary in Abu Dhabi?

My husband is making 100.000 Dollars a year in the US (bonus not yet included). What would be a good offer for Abu Dhabi? Somebody told me 2-3 times that pay (which means 200.000 - 300.000 US Dollars.). Is that true?

The salary will depends on the Profession, Designation & Company in which he is offered a job only.

Highly paid executives are there in Abu dhabi and they are getting a basic package of 40K (starting)+ per month + the packages. So it will come to more than 100K USD per annum. And of course, it is 100% tax free, and you have a right to spend / save the entire amount, which is not possible in US.

Anyhow, you must tell the Designation he held and the Profession and Designation he Anticipated here. Then only I can give you a clear picture...

Just go to the job sites in which the salary packages (for few) mentioned. (for eg: www.naukrigulf.com, www.gnads4u.com\jobs, www.monster.com etc)

The $200K - $300K figure would be a great dream. A salary of Dirhams.240K plus accomodation (total less than $100K but tax free) I think would be a very high salary in Abu-Dhabi or Dubai -  but then again it would depend on the job, the position and the company.
