Saleen Blitz, a solid player in A1 400m Flat at Romford
Droopys China has the draw in favour, but she is unlikely to get the better of Saleen Blitz, whose fresh effort was super impressive. The two high quality hounds will meet in the A1 400m Flat at Romford on Monday, September 24, 2012.
Other four participants are: Bouncy Girl, Newinn Phanter, Bit View Tornado and Soho Rage. The bettors don’t have much time to make their choice, as the race is about to commence. As per the plan, the officials will ring the bells at 21:30 GMT.
Saleen Blitz suffered a few terrible defeats earlier this month. He was at bottom of the table twice during first two weeks of September. Things finally fell right for him last time, as he unchained the shackles in a tremendous fashion.
After leaving the sixth trap, he showed furious pace, and did not let his speed go down even for a second. An early pace helped the M. Wiley-trained lead at the first bend. After getting his head in front, the skilful hound allowed no one to spoil his party.
An outstanding effort guided him to a comfortable 4-length success. His finishing time of 24.48 seconds was also pretty impressive. With a fantastic win, the son of Crash is back to form, and will not be an easy fellow to surpass.
On the other hand, Droopys China is determined to record her first win of the season. The white and blue b***h recently returned to action after a break.
Including the red jacket, J. Reynolds’ charge has many things in her favour. Yet, one should think twice before staking money on her. The daughter of Westmead Hawk ran well last twice, but in defeat. So, she needs something different in order to come out
of her ongoing unlucky spell.
Soho Rage is in terrible form, and does not fascinate us. Ground conceded at the gun may prove costly for Bit View Tornado. Bouncy Girl ran well in the trials, but this is far from easy. Newinn Phanter is running back-to-back races, but nothing good has
yet come to his way.
Since Saleen Blitz is coming off an excellent win, he should be preferred over Droopys China. The rest of the pack is unlikely to make an impact. Good luck to all the hounds.
