I just opened an online store and now i'm collecting sales tax from people who live in maryland. My question is how do i keep track of this

How do you you keep track of your sales?  You must already be doing that since you will NEED that info for your taxes.  However you are doing than, make a second column and put the sales tax amount in the new column.  You will need that total not only to pay the sales tax to the state, but also for your income tax return.

Use the same method that you are or should be using to determine your total sales for income tax purposes.  That in most likely hood would be a spreadsheet  You state will provide the proper forms to report the sales tax and direct you as to the frequency that you are required to report and remit the sales tax that you are collecting for them.
