Sales Tax in NYC how to avoid this to get xmas shopping done?

I want to go shopping but sometimes sales tax can be killer, Where can I go to avoid paying sales tax and do my xmas shopping???

if u spend under 100 bucks there is no tax, or shop in nj

Online shopping with out of state or city companies would be tax free and shipped to your home, or go to NJ or PA, tax is less!

The only way would be by mail order from out of state but then you pay shipping and handling. Also some states want you to be honest and report and pay the tax on your state income tax.
