I find projections quite hard, especially for a new business. What are the easy ways to project annual sales for a new business?

  1. For a new start business i would look at the costs of the business and firstly see how many units i need to sell to cover costs.  Then estimate a break even for unit sales.

    As with all new start businesses the next step is to bounce a few cheques.  Miss a morrtgage payment or two and then call in the recievers.

    I would estimate that within a year a reasionable sales target is zero.
