Sales in Italy?

Does anyone know when the winter sales begin in Italy? How long do they last?

Sales in Italy generally start in january and they are not as good as the ones in the USA. The mark-downs are usually less than 50% off. You can try and find "stock-houses" that offer past season merchandize at reduced rates. They are your best bet for reduced rate top-notch designer clothes. The ones that come to mind in the Milan/Turin regaion are "Il Pallino" for shoes and "Salvagente" and "Eta Beta" for clothes.

KIND OF LIKE NORTHERN USA.--but italy is colder in the north than in the south--and near the coast line is warmer than inland.--and theres a lot of coastline.--but in general fall sales start in sept and runs through march.--i've been to italy 4 times totalling 12 months in the last 3 years and have shopped a lot--summer/winter.--hoped i helped--se ya,giorgio--by the way im a dualcitizen  italian/american

There are two kinds of sales. The December sale and the January sale. The January one is better because its after the holidays and prices go down.
