  1. To figure out percentages just do this:

    Original price x the percent once the decimal has been moved two places to the left. Then subtract that from the original price.

    So $9.44 x 0.66 = $6.23

    $9.44 - $6.23 = $3.21

    To find out what the percentage was just divide and then move the decimal two to the right.

    45 / 88 = 0.51

    0.51 = 51%

    But everything's computerized nowadays, I doubt you'll have to worry about anything.

  2. 1. $6.23

    2. $9.11

    3. close to 52%
