The former Bayern Munich midfielder has denied reports that he will be hanging his boots at the end of the current campaign.
Wolfsburg midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic has insisted that he still has one or two years left in him and has no plans of retiring at the end of the season. He played down reports which claimed that he will hang his boots once his one-year contract with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 ends this summer.
The Bosnian winger added that he is fully fit and can continue playing at the highest level for a couple more seasons. He admitted that his main focus right now is to guide Wolfsburg to a decent finish on the standings table and end the campaign on a high.
The former Juventus player added that whenever he ends his career, he will surely live in Munich as he loves the city. Salihamidzic played for Bayern Munich for nine years and won six Bundesliga titles in the process before moving to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 in 2007.
“I definitely want to keep playing for another year or two. We'll wait and see if I stay in Wolfsburg, we'll work it out over the coming months. For the time being, I'm totally focused on achieving success with our team. When I do finish playing, I'll definitely live in Munich, that's a done deal,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to Bayern Munich’s official website.
The midfielder also recalled his UEFA Champions League triumph with the Bavarian giants in 2001 and labelled it as the best moment of his playing career. He added that the win will always be with him as it is the only European title he has ever won in his career.

Hasan Salihamidzic will next face his former club Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday at the Allianz Arena. The player will face the club he left five years ago for Juventus.
