Well i bought CIBA Vision Sensitive Eye Saline for my contacts and i was reading directions and it was talking about putting them in like a eye container for storage? but i thought you only rinse the contact before putting it in your eye with saline to get all the contact solution stuff off the contact, so it wont causes itching and etc. Anyways can you store contact in saline over night after it has been in the contact solution for the amount of time told? or should i only use the saline before i put them in like it says with directions? Thanks for all the help again everyone!

  1. You can just use the saline to rinse them off.

In the future, though, if you rinse your contacts because your eyes are sensitive, unisol 4 preservative free saline really is the best option- if you can get it, I strongly suggest it.

  2. The multipurpose solution cleans and sterilizes the contacts.  After they have been in the solution for the proper amount of time, I suppose you could store them in saline, but why?  Just leave them soaking in the multipurpose solution overnight and rinse them before use. You would save a whole lot of saline that way and the end result would be the same.  Most multipurpose solutions I've seen require a cleaning cycle of at least eight hours (overnight) anyway.

  3. Saline are used for before and after wearing lenses. It is not for storing of lenses. Do get multipurpose solution. They are better
