Salman Butt claims Michael Beloff has no issues with his TV expert role
Disgraced Pakistan opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Salman-Butt-c2418 claimed on Wednesday that the International Cricket Council tribunal chief Michael Beloff does not have any issues with his role as a television commentator during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2011.
Butt said that he has been given clearance to appear as an expert on a private TV channel during the mega event.
“I am delighted to make my debut as television commentator,” said the 26-year-old while talking to media. “My lawyer (Yasin Patel) has told me that the ICC tribunal chairman Michael Beloff has no problems with me doing the commentary.”
Butt will commentate on a domestic channel for all of Pakistan’s World Cup games, starting from their first one against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kenya-c752 on Wednesday.
“It is wonderful to share my opinion on television,” said an excited Butt. “And I am happy that if I am not able to play I am working as a pundit.”
Besides covering Pakistan’s matches, Butt revealed that he will be commentating during the knockout stages as well.

The Pakistan Cricket Board also does not have any issues with Butt’s new role as a TV pundit after the Board terminated his contract late in 2010.
