  1. If you ski aggressively off of 50 foot jumps than you might want to go a little longer than 161 on such a soft ski.  Pro park skiers usually use 175-185 cm skis.  I don't really care for salomons in general because all of their skis are really soft and cap construction sucks.  You probably want something with a wood core, sandwich or laminate construction, and maybe even vertical sidewalls (K2 PE, next year's k2 extreme, armada skis, 4frnt skis, etc.).

  2. How much do you weigh?  I also agree that if you are starting to go big, you might want to think about a wood core ski that is just a bit longer, like a 167 or 171.  If you go through one ski every season though, a foam core might not be a bad choice.   The flyer is still a good ski, I just prefer wood core skis for their snap and durability.

  3. Hey Bro, The 1080 Flyers are sick skis, The geometry is almost identical to he 1080 Thruster but the flex and power are much greater. They are not only better for gaining more air in the park and creating more spin but they are vast improvemnt as an all terrain ski over the standard Thruster model. I would highly recommend these skies for what you want. Rip it up
