Salomon Kalou indifferent on Carlo Ancelloti’s future at Chelsea – English premier League news
Chelsea striker, Salomon Kalou, claims he is unconcerned with the future of Carlo Ancelotti. The Blues boss seems destined to leave Stamford Bridge after leading the Blues through a disappointing 2010/11 campaign.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are going to finish the current season without any silverware, something that has happened only twice since Roman Abramovich’s takeover of the club. On both previous occasions, the Blues managers were axed. If reports are to be believed, it looks
like Ancelotti is set to meet the same fate. It is thought that the former AC Milan manager will be dismissed from his position in the summer.
Many members of the Blues squad have announced their support for the Italian, however, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Salomon-Kalou-c32266 is not one of them. The Ivory Coast International claims that it does not matter who is in charge at Stamford Bridge next season, as long as the players
are focused on their task.
Asked to comment on the Carlo Ancelotti exit saga, Kalou refused to reveal whether he would like to see the Italian remain in the manager’s chair or not. The striker said, “It doesn't matter which players or who is the manager, the players have to be together
and give a better performance. We're here to play for the club, and we're happy to work with anyone. We don't make the decision. That's for the board to decide. The players are going to give their best on the pitch and that's the most important thing."
Kalou’s comments have further increased speculation that the striker is not happy with his time at Chelsea. The Ivory Coast International is reportedly unhappy to have lost his place in the first-team to January acquisition, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707. Kalou did not
celebrate his winning goal against Tottenham Hotspur in April, and he left the pitch as soon as the final whistle sounded, making it clear that he was not satisfied with his role at the club.
It is still unknown whether or not Salomon Kalou will start the next season as a Chelsea player. The striker is said to be on the list of players that the club wants to get rid of in the summer.
Chelsea are currently in second place in the Barclays Premier League standings.
