http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 striker Salomon Kalou is not too worried about his side's misfiring strike force. The Ivorian claims that it doesn't matter who scores, as long as the Blues walk away with maximum points.
There is no doubt that Chelsea have a problem at the front. None of their forwards has scored in the Premier League ever since http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 on the final day of the January transfer window. The likes of Drogba,
Anelka, Kalou and Torres himself, have all failed to find the back of the net for over two months.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has been trying to implement a rotation policy to ensure all his strikers get a piece of the action, but that hasn't paid dividends so far.
Chelsea's encounter with Manchester City over the weekend brought more of the same from the Blues strike force. It took David Luiz's second half effort to give his side the lead, with the second goal coming through Ramires' fantastic solo effort in stoppage
time.
However, striker Salomon Kalou is unconcerned with the lack of form of the Chelsea front-line. Kalou is adamant that at the end of day, all that matters is the result.
Speaking on the matter, the Ivory Coast international said, "It doesn't matter who scores because, when you are coming back to the top as a team, you have to focus more on the result. There are some moments when it's the defenders who score and the most
important thing is that the team must stick together and win games."
With Sunday's victory over Manchester City, Chelsea moved up into third place in the Premier League standings. The Blues are nine points adrift of leaders Manchester United, but crucially, they still have a game in hand over their arch-rivals. Kalou believes
that Chelsea could still manage to retain their Premier League crown.
Kalou added, "That's our level, so I believe if we continue like that, we can put Man U under pressure. It was very important for us to win and now we've got to the third place and we are coming back to our best. You can only take it game by game and we
have to focus on our own game."
