The Côte d'Ivoire international has rubbished reports linking him with a move away from Grand Stade Lille Metropole and Lille coach, Rudi Garcia, has assured the player the he has a future with the French giants

in a totally new environment and his progress was halted by a number of niggling injuries that kept him out of action.

“We are calm,” revealed Kalou’s representative, Bonaventure.
The agent added that although the Côte d'Ivoire international has failed to prove his worth so far, he is determined to improve and is in right frame of mind. Kalou knows that he needs to do more in order to silence his critics and he will do everything
to reach his personal best.
“Salomon knows he has to work hard to reach his true level and show what he is capable of doing when he is in the best shape mentally.”
