The 27-year-old said that although he wants to stay at Grand Stade Lille Metropole, he is not sure whether he will leave in this winter’s mercato or not.

The Cote d’Ivoire international said that he has a four-year contract with LOSC Lille and he would love to see out his contract. The player added that it was hard for him in the start as he was not familiar with the Ligue 1 at all. Playing in a totally new
atmosphere is never an easy task and Kalou believes that he needs more time to settle at his new club.
The forward feels that after a tough start to the life in France, he is slowly settling here and is confident that he will prove his worth eventually.
"I have a four-year contract with Lille. I am settling here slowly.”

"They have a great coach who has faith in me. He wants me here and I want to be here and play week in, week out - which I was not doing at Chelsea."
