Question:

Salt and canker sores?

ok soo ive juz developed this freakin sore on my lower lip..

its pissing me off.. so i checked for remedies here and 1 was salt..

i brush my teeth then rinse it with very salty water.. then i put a pinch of salt on the sore.. i leave it in for a minute or so.. n when i l**k the salt off, the sore seem to get bumpier... i guess more swollen?!

i started doin the salt thing last night, then wen i woke up this morning..

is this how its supposed to be done?! or is this what it should feel like?

  1. It's supposed to help clean it out to keep it from getting really infected. But for me, it stings way too much to do that, so I put some peroxide on it. The sore will go away on it's own eventually, but for now, just put peroxide and salt on it. Also, I've noticed that after I do those two, my sore is less painful. Hope this helped!
