Salt frogs in gloucester????

Question

One evening I was at a beach in gloucester there were rocks at the beach and I was siting on them when I sow 3 Frogs that were about 2 and a half inches long when I got closer they jumped into the salt water!!! is this possible??? If it is what kind of frog was it ???

Well first, they jumped, so yes, that is possible. If you are asking if these animals live in the salt water, than no, those are fresh water amphibians.
