Salt water for hermit crabs?

Instead of buying something to mix in water can I just use regular sea salt to make salt water for my hermit crabs?

The best solution for salt water for your crabs is getting aquarium salt. Its usually pretty cheap and SAFE for your hermits. I think I got mine at walmart. There are instructions on the bottle on how much to add to water. Just mix small amounts and put in a small dish.

if you mean salt from the ocean, yes you can. but you'd wanna live very close as you should be changing the water everyday or so. and keeping the water in a jug is not the solution as that just like using old water.
