Salt water tank, with blue damsel, what kind of lighting?

im going to start a saltwater tank soon and i was wondeirng what kind of light do i need for it? its going to be a 20 gallon and going to have live sand in it. im going to cycle it for 6 weeks(thats what i have read ) so waht kind of light do i need? also what light for nighttime?

how do i get enough algea growing for my scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp? and when do i need to put it in the tank? can i put it in before the 6 week mark?

Blue lighting and incendesent bulbs work great! And to get enough algae I would use algae tablets so your shrimp will eat them. For the sand I would go with the 60 bucks one or both. If ur getting both do an experiment and see if the 30 dollar one is milky and ugly.

blue lighting does an excellent job at bringing out a fishes natural colors
