  1. They will make you FAT  and Bloated- they are full of Carbs and Salt.

  2. Get the ones with unsalted tops.  These are better than the regular saltines.  But, there's not much nutrition in a saltine cracker.

Five "fat free" saltines equal one serving.  There are 60 calories per serving.

  3. they are very low in fat, moderately high in sodium, very low in fiber, high in carbohydrates.

"making you gain weight" has to do with how much you eat vs. how many calories you burn in a day

  4. the low salt fat free ones are healthy not regular ones

  5. Saltines are neither healthy or unhealthy....they have no fat...no cholesterol...but, they have very little nutritional value&they are about 13 calories per cracker.

  6. They have nothing in them that's actually healthy for you, but they're comparatively low in fat and carbs (compared to other salty snacks); and no sugar.  They're great to nibble on if you're feeling nauseous or sick too:) ... Go ahead and enjoy them (in moderation).  They're a much better snack than chips or other fried things.....(Forget the unsalted ones - they taste like cardboard, so why bother?)

  7. Well Saltine crackers are high is salt, salt can make you gain water weight. Also, depends how many of these you're eating. Keep in mind Saltines are flour (some wheat) and salt, nothing really beneficial about them.
