Salvage a marble countertop?

Dear all, i have a marble countertop in my bathroom that i need to change it's location, can i remove this marble countertop without damaging it, its cemented about 2 cm in the wall and rests on 3 arms and the countertop drawers, thanks

  1. once you get it off the mount, turn it up on its side.  Marble must always be carried in a vertical position or it will break.


  2. With caution, and perhaps some knowledge of what substance the "CEMENT" is, I think you should expect to take out part of the surrounding wall, at least to access that back side where the top its attached.

  3. ys, will take a little work....u have to get in there and release the bonding agent and it will take 2 people to move it but it can be done.......
