You cannot overdose on salvia divinorum, this is a ridiculous statement with no merit whatseoever.  That's one of the gret things about it, you can't overdose. http://www.Salvia.md sells the most potent extract I've ever tried.  They also have a ton of info on the subject.  I also love Kratom, my other favorite herb; it's like opium, but legal. http://www.Kratom.md sells some trippy shiet!

Salvias are a great flower for your garden, as they attract a number of bees and hummingbirds.  I highly recommend the newer 'nymph' species for their very distinctive appearance.

However, if you are refering to the psychodelic properties, I would not recommend using Salvias for such, as you can easily overdose on it.
