Salvidorian party food ?!?!?

I'm throwing my daughter her 2nd borthday party, im trying to do the cooking. i want to re introduce her roots to her through cooking . she is half italian(from me) and half salvidoria. i have no idea how to make tasty salvidorian dishes. i was hoping that someone could help me with a few. thank you sooo much.
