Sam Allardyce wants good relationship with new owners
Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce says he wants a good relationship with the new owners of the football club.
The directors of Venky's Venkateshwara and Balaji Rao were introduced to the Blackburn crowd before the match against Aston Villa last weekend. Allardyce says it is crucial for himself and the future of
Blackburn to treat the pair with the utmost respect.
"I have spoken to them today, nothing in terms of how the club's going forward, I'm looking forward to that,
you know it's a new era and I'm looking very much to meeting them and giving them my ideas on how the club should go forward," Allardyce told
Sky Sports.
There is a slight worry existing within Blackburn supporters circle that the football club is headed in a strange direction due to the Indian business interests of the
new owners. However, Allardyce says this won't be a problem if a link between Blackburn as a club and a business can be found.
"I need to know what their ultimate plan is for the football club based
on what their business is and how they want to link the two together. I hear they are very keen on tapping into, particularly, the Indian market, which is always good news when you're globally looking at more revenue."
Ultimately, an increased amount of revenue will only benefit Blackburn in the future. It would let the club expand the current Ewood Park and extra funding would be available
for transfer targets.
"And if you can gain any more revenue that will benefit the football
club, we're very interested in helping as much as we possibly can and hopefully, a good working relationship and money to develop the team is basically what we need."

Blackburn's future as a football club and a business looks solid. Allardyce is an experienced manager who has already guided the team to some good results. Have no hesitation
in backing Blackburn to stay up by the end of the season.
