Samar Suzy reaching out for the seasonal debut win in the Betfred Maiden Standard Trophy
The most proficient entry for the Grade OR Betfred Maiden Standard Trophy is the two-year-old dark brindle b***h, Samar Suzy. She will be joined over the 500 metres flat race distance by five other hounds who will take their chances with the £150 prize money. The race will be staged at Nottingham on Monday, 8th October.
Her defined standard racing level ever since July has been the open races.
She has never won at any instant, and the best that she has managed is the runner-up’s position.
Ace Hi Rumble’s daughter finished next to the best in the Brandon Puppy Trophy – Division B on 15th July, 2012 at Coventry over 485 metres. The race was won by, Geneva Socks, who had the race sorted in 29.69 seconds, and had the final 4 ½ lengths in her favour. The extra lengths had Samar Suzy coming at terms with the second position.
The second score followed the series of highly undesirable rankings. The monotony was intercepted by two second scores.
The I. Walker trained qualified as the runner-up in the Betfred Mobile Casino Puppy Trophy on 10th September, 2012 at Nottingham over 480 metres. Racing in blue due to the second trap, the b***h out of, Darkside, ended as the runner-up despite the challenges and the unfortunate fate of getting crowded. She had to miss the victory by the margin of just half-length.
The race was won by the favourite entry, Slick Sagan, in 28.84 seconds.
The very next try of the two-year-old was in the Stadium Bookmakers Puppy Maiden Standard Trophy, and the outcome was the same as before.
Even with the clear run, free of any crowding and bumping, Samar Suzy, had to settle with the second best position after being left adrift by 3 ¼ lengths.
The deceptive speed of the evening’s favourite, Farley Semour, left very negligible provision for the success of the I. Walker trained.
She ended third in the most recent outing, and is yet to please the connections with the first position.
She has drawn a tricky trap, the fourth one. The chances of getting crowded here or getting bumped are at the peak here.
