Dmitry Samarenkin has urged the Kazan-based club to win the UEFA Europa League after winning the cup tournament at Yekaterinburg stadium on Wednesday
Rubin Kazan are the proud Russian Cup winners, as they defeated Dynamo Moscow 1-0 at Yekaterinburg stadium on Wednesday. Roman Emenike’s second-half strike was enough to decide the fate of the match.
The Tatary will now play in the UEFA Europa League next season after getting an automatic qualification to the European tournament upon their cup win.
In aftermath of the outcome, Rubin president, Dmitry Samarenkin, has hailed the incredible Kamni. Samarenkin admitted that he is proud of his side’s never say die attitude after winning against a decent opponent.
Though, Rubin have managed to win against the Moscow-based club thrice this season, they failed to win their last league meeting against the same opposition after recording a 1-1 draw at Arena Khimki.
Samarenkin insisted that he is proud of his side for their Europa League qualification, and has urged them to work harder next season. He expressed his desire to add a European cup to Rubin’s trophy cabinet, having previously won:
the Russian Cup, Russian Super Cup, CIS Cup and Russian Premier League during the last four years.
The President went on to admit that Rubin wanted to give something special to their fans after a below par league campaign. Samarenkin admitted that the Volzhane deserved to win after putting in a lot of effort in the domestic
cup.

predictions, including their Russian Cup win against Dynamo.
The Russian national revealed that Karadeniz has now predicted Rubin to win the Europa League next season.
"Karadeniz predicted us to win the gold medal in 2008. The guy has prophetic abilities. In September, he told me that we will win the Cup. And we won. When I asked what we will win next season, he said Europa League.” Samarenkin
