Same old hamstring stretches are no longer effective? 29/male am I just getting old?

My sit and reach, my toe touch, my front leg raise, are all terrible. They used to be very good. Do I need to change up my stretching, or am I just aging?

  1. Yoga and pilates, I do 25 minutes of yoga before going to my dojo


  2. Stretch more often.  Also, try stretching after you have warmed up with some cardio.  I used to stretch 4 times a day and need to return to that.  

    Try doing more kicks that work those stiff muscles.
