These telemarketers keeping calling from different fake numbers that start with area codes 555, 111, 000, 666, or have out of area, unknown, bermuda, ontario on them with a fake area code. The same recording and everything every-time i press 1 to be taking off there calling list it gets transferred to the same person with an australian accent and they hang up

Every-time i try to find some info on the company or person calling i cant never get it. I've faked interest in the product to get the company's name and address phone number they wouldn't give it out, brought a prepaid credit card to try and get there info after purchasing didn't work.

Iam already on the do not call list and have been on it for a while.

  1. yes....its just drive me nuts!! They finally figured out that ppl don't pic up the phone if they use 800 numbers, so they use now regular call-out numbers only!

Its caller-ID spoofing....every time they call your house its a different number...!

As fast as they call, I put them on my call-block list....with my new Panasonic phone with call block for free!!

  2. If it gets worse contact your phone company and tell them the situation and the company can put a tracer on the phone so the next time they call back they can warn the telemarketer. Also if it gets worse just change your phone number or get the police.

  3. you need to contact your phone company and alert them to whats going on and if they won't do anything about it, tell them that it is time for a new phone company that respects you, and your privacy. You may need a new number, sometimes when you get in a system its impossible to extricate yourself...its like with e-mail spam lists, I've tried to be removed, but only get c**p from a different address. because its free e-mail i wont complain to yahoo. I'll just deal, maybe one day i will get yet another new e-mail address, but a pay service is something else they owe it to you to protect your privacy, its part of what you are paying for.

also when you talk to the rep at the phone company don't settle for anything less than a manager, because the peons can't do much to help you anyways. be forceful say you need to talk to a manager, and you won't tell them your problem because you will not repeat yourself several times..

also the manager doesn't want to be responsible for losing you as a customer because if they lose too many in a month they get called up on the carpet.
