The Bayer Leverkusen joint manager is targeting improved performances in the future games and has belief in his current squad.
Werkself have had a mixed start to the season and the side is currently 12th on the Bundesliga standings table with four points from the first four games played. The team has won only once thus far and have already suffered
two defeats during the course of the campaign.
Sami Hyypia, who is the club’s joint coach with Sascha Lewandowski, is certain that the side can make a comeback and is hopeful that the best is yet to come. He admitted that things have not gone according to plan in the last few
weeks, but is confident that the club will achieve consistency as the season unfolds.

was below par and has called for amends in the upcoming game against FC Augsburg.
“I have every confidence that better times will come. We did not have an ideal start. But if we all work hard together then good things will happen. We saw against Gladbach what we need to do to play better. The mental strength
we showed was very good. It is a good basis for the future,” the coach was quoted as saying in an interview.

winger to shine in the future games.
“When you are going through a difficult time, you need really positive backing. Andre will get chances again and I am convinced that he will soon be scoring the goals that we need,” he concluded.
Andre Schurrle has not scored for Bayer Leverkusen since May this year and is under a lot of pressure from the club’s fans. The player will be looking to get his name on the score sheet in the upcoming game against Augsburg.
