“It [the partnership] has improved, we know each other even better now and don't have to talk much, our interaction is even better, which is good for our performance as a team," Khedira is quoted as saying in an interview.
The midfielders will have to be at their best when they face a stubborn Greek side. The former Stuttgart hard man insists Joachim Low’s side will have to move the ball quickly against a defensive side like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Greece-c2908.
“We have to keep moving with pace, which we already do well, but against a defensive-minded team we will get our chances, we just have to keep trying,” he added.
He also revealed that he is enjoying his role in the team and is enjoying being part of a tightly knit unit. The midfielder states he is relishing the extra responsibility of being an anchorman.
"I feel very much at home with the team, I take more responsibility, that's normal, I like the position I play, everything else others have to comment on,” he further added.
Sami Khedira has no doubt developed a lot under the guidance of his Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho. The move to the Spanish capital was a step in the right direction as the midfielder has blossomed under extra pressure and expectation.
