It seems like all hope is not yet lost for Arsenal, as Samir Nasri’s agent has gone on to reveal that talks regarding the player’s contract are still ongoing between both parties.
Over the course of the last couple of weeks, there have been countless rumours linking the player away from the Emirates, with Manchester United of all clubs being the favourites to land the player.
One of the reasons for the player to want to make the switch, is down to the fact that Arsenal just can’t seem to win any silverware and at the same time, the team seems to be having http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 difficulty identifying with the fact, that Nasri is easily one of
the best players on the team and hence deserves to get the increment in his contract – this inability of both parties to agree on wages, has been the prime factor to the player not putting pen to paper on a new contract as yet.
Nasri has also gone on to question Wenger’s transfer market policies and has stated, that perhaps it is high time that the manager started bringing in some big names, since without those key signings, Arsenal might just go on and make it seven years without
lifting any trophies.
Nonetheless, the players agent has now gone on to confirm that the negotiations between the player and the club have not been permanently terminated, but will in fact continue to take place in the near future.
The agent, when talking about the situation his client finds himself in, in reported to have said: "I want to clarify that there has been no break with the Gunners over the contract's renewal and we should meet again soon with Arsene Wenger"
However, he then went on to confirm that there was definite interest from other teams, which was present at the moment, as he went on to add:
"There are a few clubs interested in Samir, but it is useless to name them.”
He then ended by stating, that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 were still the priority for both him and his client, as he went on to finish by saying:
"Before listening to other teams, we need and we want to talk with Arsenal."

Nasri has been winning fans all over the world with his immense performances, which is why it has come as a shock to most, that the team is so resilient on renewing the player’s contract. However, it is now going to be a wait for another couple of weeks to
see just where Nasri will be playing next season.
