Samir Nasri feels like Manchester City is the new Real Madrid
Manchester City recently went on to complete the signing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. The French midfielder, who was signed by the Gunners from Marseille based his decision to leave, simply because he didn’t like the atmosphere at the Emirates.
However, since his move, the player has been constantly talking about how great his new team really is. The midfielder has now gone as far as to compare City to Real Madrid. Nasri feels that the new era that has dawned at City, makes them the modern day
Galacticos. The team seems to be boasting some of the best talent in the world and as a result, it is only fair to give them the title that they deserve.
When talking about City and their new status, Nasri is quoted to have said: "In http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 and everyone was playing together for them"
"In the first game [http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030] Aguero played [for City], he scored twice and had an assist. I love those kind of players. They are not tall - like me - have quick feet and good technique. When you play with someone like this you want to have a connection with
them.”
He then went on to admit that the prospect of playing with some of the best players in the world was just a little too good to turn down and it is one of the reasons that made the player decide to join City.
"No doubt with them, Yaya [Toure], Edin Dzeko or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez, if he stays, you’re just happy to be in the same dressing room as them and can’t wait to play with them."
Nasri when highlighting his reasons to join City stated that he used to talk to former Arsenal players, Gael Clichy and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrick-Vieira-c29316 a lot, in order to understand just what to expect from his new club. It turns out that both the former Arsenal, French
players seemed to be very convincing and made the player decide to jump ship almost instantly.
The manner in which Nasri has been handling himself following his move away from Arsenal is very shameful to say the least. The player hasn’t yet gone on to acknowledge the fans following his move and has only had a few words to say about his former team
in manager.
It is now going to be more than interesting to see how Nasri is treated once the Gunners and City face off this season.
