Manchester City midfielder, French international and former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 player, Samir Nasri has gone on to admit that he is rearing to go all out and run the show for Manchester City in the Champions League.
The midfielder went on to join the Eastlands based team this past week for a fee of around twenty four million pounds and seems to be more than willing to express his loyalty to his new team.
Nasri feels that City have one of the strongest teams in the world and that they should be considered to be the new galacticos. However, he feels that him along with every other member of the team, possess the capabilities to cause any team problems.
Nasri, when talking about what lay ahead for City and himself is quoted to have said: "I'm not scared of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, or anyone else in the Champions League, with the squad we've got.”
He then went on to highlight the individual talent that the team was overflowing with, as he added: "I look around and they are all big players. There's Yaya Toure, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero - all big players.”
The player then admitted that his new dream was to go all the way with Manchester City and to help the team win a number of titles along the way.
"I can't wait to play with them and our dream is to be successful and win titles for Man City."
Following the draws of the Champions League group stages, City have been drawn up against the likes of Villareal, Bayern Munich and Napoli. All three of those teams are amongst the best in the world and possess ample Champions League experience, when compared
to City. As a result, this upcoming challenge for City isn’t going to be as easy as many were assuming for it to be.
According to most experts, City are more than likely to come out on top at the end of the group stages and will make it through to the next round, along with Bayern Munch. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and Villareal both possess the ability to go on and cause major upsets.
In order to avoid being humiliated, City are going to have to hope that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has all his notes in front of him and plans the team’s European challenge expertly.
Nonetheless, should the manager be able to get the team to work as one solid unit, then there is a very strong possibility for the team to go much further than many expect them to.
