Manchester City midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 has admitted that he is looking to prove his worth for City and feels that scoring a few goals will help him do so.
Samir Nasri made the move from Arsenal to join Manchester City at the start of the season, in a deal that was believed to help the midfielder achieve his true potential.
However, so far, the player has been overshadowed at the club and is yet to really produce the same level of performances that he once displayed for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429.
The player has also often been targeted by football fans, who label his move to be motivated by money and nothing else.
Nasri then went on to admit that all he needs to do now, is score more goals for City, in order to slowly make his way up the pecking order.
City took on Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend and Nasri was the first player to find the back of the net in the game.
When talking about his goal in the game, Nasri went to express his delight and applaud http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601 as he is quoted to have said: "This goal is what I needed after everyone was talking.

"I needed this to show everyone I am 100% with Man City.”

"I want to perform well and show everyone what I can do.”

"David [Silva] gave me a brilliant ball and after one touch, I scored and I was happy."
Given the way Nasri has slowly started to adjust and adapt to life at City, it is safe to say the player is going to be a regular starter in the future.
However, at the same time Nasri would have to admit that he might never be on the same par as David Silva, since City revolve around the Spanish midfielder and his ability to construct play for the team.
All in all, it is now time for Nasri to slowly start putting in solid performances for the team and hope for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 to take note of these performances, as he gives him more playing time.
Should the French international do as he has set out to do, he could easily be hailed as one of the best players in the Premier League once again.
