Samir Nasri or Cesc Fabregas – Who is more important for Arsenal?
At the moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 seem to be in one of the worst situations that the team has found itself in, over the course of the last couple of years. The Gunners have gone six years without lifting a trophy and it seems like they just don’t have the ability to
negotiate in the transfer market.
However, to add insult to injury, the Gunners are now set to lose out on two of the best players at the team. The dynamic midfield duo of, Cesc Fabregas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 are currently being rumoured to be on the brink of walking out of the club.
That being said, with both the players set to depart from the club in the near future, one starts to wonder, if Arsenal could keep a hold of one of the two players, which one would it be? And just who has been more important to the team on the whole?
Samir Nasri
Nasri made his move to the Emirates from Marseille at the start of the 2008 – 2009 season. Ever since his arrival, the player has managed to bring a whole new dimension to the Gunners.
Nasri with him has gone on to bring pace, trickery and the ability to use imagination. The French international can play as a midfielder, a winger or even as a second striker.
Over the course of the last three seasons, Nasri has gone on to make a hundred and twenty four appearances for the team, while picking up twenty seven goals and sixteen assists along the way.
Despite Nasri not bagging as many goals and assists as one might have hoped, he helps creating an ‘X’ factor in the team and a new sense of direction comes to the club.
We can conclude by saying, Nasri’s inclusion into the squad has gone on help provide a whole new direction for the team.
Cesc Fabregas
The Arsenal http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 youth system, before the start of the 2003 season. However, ever since his arrival at the club, the Arsenal midfield has gone on to become one of the best in the business.
With his ability to pick up impossible passes and with the ability to lead the team from the front, the Spanish international has been an inspiration to the club.
Over the course of the eight seasons that he has spent with the club, Fabregas has gone on to make three hundred and three appearances for the club, while scoring fifty seven goals and picking up a hundred assists along the way.

Out of the two, Fabregas has a much greater history when it comes to injuries, the midfielder’s hamstrings seem to be caving out under him, every other week and in his absence, the team has already adapted to life without him.
The duo of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 have proven that they are capable of taking over from Fabregas in his absence and hence they might be able to replace the player permanently, should he end up leaving the team.
On the other hand, Nasri doesn’t have a replacement at the club and it seems like it might be a long while before the team lands another player, who has the potential and capabilities that the French midfielder possess.
As a result, should it be down to choice, it might just prove to be smarter to hang on to Nasri, as compared to Fabregas.
