Based on a number of rumours that have flown in over the course of the last few hours, it seems like Samir Nasri might finally be on the verge of completing his move to leaving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and joining Manchester City.
The player has been linked with a move to join City for nearly one and a half months now, but it seems like he is now closer to making the move than he has ever been in the past.
Nasri currently has one year left on his contract with Arsenal and should he not be sold this time around, he could walk out of the Emirates for free at the end of the season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has gone on to confirm his interest in landing Nasri this past weekend and admitted that he was looking to wrap up a deal within the coming week. However, he admitted that should the player get cup tied, then that could act as a major factor
to prevent the move from going through at the end of the day.
However, it is now being reported that Nasri is not going to playing for Arsenal in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. In fact some rumours suggest the player is going to be heading into Manchester to have his medical for City during the same time frame, prior to completing his move.
Arsene Wenger had admitted that he would like to keep a hold of his top players and didn’t want to see any of them part ways with the team. However, considering the fact that Cesc Fabregas left the Emirates almost immediately after those comments, it seems
highly unlikely for Nasri to stick around any longer.
Nonetheless, with the next twenty four hours now being reported to be the time frame during which Nasri is going to complete his move, it seems like Wenger will have to splash the cash before the end of the season, or he could risk the Gunners season being
over before it starts.
