Samir Nasri wants to win to avoid Edin Dzeko’s teasing afterwards – Les Bleus news
France international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bosnia-and-Herzegovina-c2856 at the Stade de France tonight as he does not want to be teased by his Manchester City teammate Edin Dzeko who would be spearheading the Bosnian attack tonight.
Samir Nasri joined Manchester City from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323’s squad and has struck a formidable partnership with Edin Dzeko.
However, Nasri has said that he will put his friendship with the Bosnian striker aside when France host Bosnian in the final Group D game where a win would mean automatic qualification for either Bosnia or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899.
Bosnia have never qualified for a major event and after missing out on qualification for the World Cup in 2010, Bosnians are looking to defy all odds by defeating Les Bleus on their own soil.
Nasri, while talking to the media said, "I really want to win because I don't want Edin teasing me afterwards on the training ground."
Nasri however added that Dzeko will not be the only Bosnian threat and said that his team will have to focus on the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 this summer.
"We'll have to be careful with him, but he's not the only one. They have a lot of good players, like [Zvjezdan] Misimović and Pjanić. Focusing on Edin would be a mistake."
Though Nasri admits that a draw would be enough to earn France automatic qualification, the 24-year-old believes that going with a negative mindset could prove costly for his team as they don’t want to get complacent with qualification within their reach.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 defender Anthony Réveillère also echoed Nasri’s sentiments and said that his side should target a win to qualify on a strong note rather than settling for a draw.
With France needing just one point to win automatic qualification for the European showpiece in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 next year, the Bosnians would definitely be looking to stage one of the biggest upsets in the history of European football by beating a depleted French side.
