Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer has maintained that the current manager Jupp Heynckes should not worry about his allegiance to the coach, even though, the rumours suggested that the athletic supervisor wanted an

The executive left his post of technical director of German Football Association (DFB) to take the project at Die Roten, to help them end their trophy drought of the last two years. He said that the club tactician can totally bank
on him as he is fully committed to serve for the side’s cause.
Moreover, the 45-year-old former player claimed that his appearance on the bench during match days is not any indication towards taking over the manager’s position, although, he has yet to decide over his future when his current
deal expires.
The 1996 European Player of the Year joined Der FCB at the start of the summer of 2012 and has been already involved in a dispute. He is being criticised over his desire of sitting alongside the players in matches, with the team
trainer.
Furthermore, Sammer insisted that he just sits on the bench as a spectator and confirmed that he is not after anything or is not giving any signals to the board members.
"We will have tests, we will talk, and we will also have different opinions. It will be difficult at times, but Jupp Heynckes must never doubt my loyalty," Sammer was quoted as saying in an interview.
The director conceded that he enjoys a healthy relationship with the head coach of the Allianz Arena outfit and said that the club will have trying times, but the duo will talk their way out of the problems, even when they disagree
on certain subjects. He said the task to manage such a big club like Bayern is very hard as it is very demanding.
