Sammy's gettin' a little 2 Happy with the Happy Hut?

Question

I have 2 birds Cookie, she is blue, and Sammy , green and yellow faced. I don't know if Cookie is just putting him off,Sexually, but he gets on the Happy hut which is fuzzy-and he just wiggles and squirms - his tail feather looks like it's going 2 town-lol....Is he trying to have s*x with the happy hut? I know it can't bite him back...but it's a little embarrasing when someone is around...What do U thinkl?????

He's mastrubating.  Quite normal... two year old children do it too.

Hahaha, yes, unfortunately many birds do "enjoy" themselves on various toys, fabrics, and even people!  There's not much you can do... maybe pull the happy hut out when you have company.  :-P

Haha that is a mating dance, birds do this mostly to attract mates or work off some sexual tension. Is Sammy a budgie (pet parakeet)? Ours do this all the time, except that they use our heads instead of a happy hut. It's perfectly normal, and there's not really much you can do to stop it. If you brush him off the hut, he'll just get back on.

My budgie used to "attack" my mother's shoulder when she had a certain brightly patterned blouse on. Also one of our sofa cushions with flowers on it. So you're not alone.
