Gayle returns to the national team after a period of 14 months, during which he was sidelined during selection owing to a spat with the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 Cricket Board.
The West Indies are currently playing the last Test of their 3-match series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, after which the ODI series is due to commence on June 16 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
The ICC has rejected Pakistan’s proposal to host Australia in August this year for a T20 series consisting of more than 3 matches.
The PCB has been advised by the Emirates board, who have offered to host Pakistan’s limited-overs series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, to convert the ODI series into a full-fledged T20I series, consisting of 6 to 7 matches, owing to the weather conditions, and the
holy month of Ramadan.
However, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 has rejected the request, saying the matter needs more discussion at the Chief Executive’s meeting to be held at the end of this month in Kuala Lumpur.

his retirement from international cricket.
