The Blucerchiati President has stated that the club will make a couple of targeted investments in the summer, and insisted that dedication and professionalism is the key to their survival.
Sampdoria President is looking forward to his club’s first season in Serie A after many years, and has stressed that the team must look to capture points against the top teams from all over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926.
The Blucerchiati have earned their promotion from last season of Serie B, and will be looking to survive in Italy’s top flight with a show of grit in the upcoming season.
The Samp have already signed Italy’s under-21 boss Ciro Ferrara, and are gathering reinforcements from the summer transfer market to add to their strength.
Edoardo Garrone stated that he pledged commitment and devotion to the cause of his club, the day his team beat Varese to confirm their ticket to Serie A.
The Blucerchiati chief stressed that he expects all the people in his club to show the same enthusiasm towards the outfit, and insisted that with dedication they can go a long way.
While talking to the press, the Italian businessman said:
“I remember on the evening of the [Serie B second leg play-off] game with Varese that I said I can only guarantee commitment, desire to do well and great seriousness and so I keep saying. This is the spirit that all members of the club have - with dedication
and professionalism in what we do we are convinced that the rewards will come.”
Garrone insisted that while the pleasure of the fans and the project is important, picking up points is an agenda that must always keep the prime importance.
The Blucerchiati went on to stress that while Sampdoria have limited budget for summer shopping, they will make some targeted investments to add to their bench strength.
The Samp chief was adamant that the club already has a very strong squad, and insisted that he is confident that the team will do well under the new manager.
“The transfer market? We believe that a couple of players are needed to improve the squad. Certainly we will not buy a large number, we will work more accurately.” He added.
