Samsonite suitcase locked! Can't open!?

Question

It's an American Tourister suitcase. I was trying to set a new combination, flipped the red lid, put the combination, closed the lid, but when I tried to lock the suitcase, the lock just wouldn't erm... lock? I pushed it a bit more and it finally locked. But when I try to open it with the combination, it doesn't open! Help?!

I had the same problem, and it was in the 500's too! Well, you could try combinations, if youre sure that its in the 500's then start with that eg- 501, 510.... in my case it turned out to be 578.
