Samsung A412 text message problem

Question

I have bought this new mobile phone after having the Samsumg A501.

The problem I can't work out is with text messaging. When I get a message the text won't wrap around to the next line, so the last two letters of a word may be on the next line and that makes it hard and really annoying to read. I can't work out how to change it
