Samsung French Door Refrgerator - New

Question

My new - 2 months old - frig, I'm guessing, in the process, of the freezer staying defrosted is melting the ice cream & then freezing it, which makes it hard as a brick. Also, about 1/2 of the ice ends up as a solid mass!?!
