Samsung Glyde? Is It Worth It?

Question

This phone looks really awesome and since my 2 year contract is up and if i start a new two year contract and upgrade my phone i practically get the whole service for free. So i need to know if it is worth getting.

P.S. I'm with verizon and i would like to get a good testing phone that is not a voyager or enV2. So give me some feedback.

No. I've heard it has problems. My friend has one and she says the battery dies really fast. And i think it's bad because the touch screen needs more work and the letters are so small, like they were meant for baby hands. The env2 is a really good phone though. I have it and its really good. It holds a lot of txt messages and its way smaller than the first one. Hope I helped!

I 100% prefer you get the LG dare.

the glyde has an enormous amount of problems.

also for texting you should get the dare too.

and with a new 2 year contract the dare is almost free too.

The glyde did have a software issue with its original release, but has since been corrected.  The Dare is an outstanding device yet the touch screen makes it tough to text at times.

if you want a phone that has touchscreen with full qwerty keyboard, get the lg voyager. but if you want one purely touchscreen, go for the lg dare.

the dare would be a better choice. i have the glyde and i dont really like it. sometimes when i press a button on the screen it takes awhile for it to go to the menu also when using the keyboard the top of the phone kinda make it hard to use the top row of buttons. my dad just got the dare and in my opinion its Way better. the touch screen works really good it has a better camera. hope it helps. =)

i would get the dare but it doesnt have a keyboard I have an iPhone which is similar to the dare and I'm fine with the keyboard its pretty fast
