We bought a Samsung HLP 61" flat screen about 3 years ago. It's been running fine until a few months ago. It started shutting off on it's own. We would turn it back on and somtimes it would stay on, but sometimes it would go off again some minutes later. The problem got progressively worse (with only a few minutes lapsing between shut offs) so my hubby took out the lamp and replaced it. We only had 3000 hours on the first lamp. Anyway, after replacing it worked fine for a few days, then started acting up again. Now, the TV pretty much shuts off as soon as it turns on. Can anyone help troubleshoot? We spend so much money on this TV and the replacement lamp and don't want to toss it out! We are thinking about hiring a repair guy but wanted to first check and see if we could resolve it on our own since money is now tight! Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
