Samsung Hitron TV 488S - All features are locked,...

Question

 All the Television functions are locked. We cant access the menu, sound etc manually  or via its remote control.  How can one "unlock" the functions?  The TV was locked accidentally with its remote.  We have referred to the manual but nothing.  In the meantime the sound is running via our stereo speakers. Any help would be appreciated.
