Samsung SRS615DP Refrigerator

Question

The temperature displays -16 and 3 degrees. After approx 10 hours the freezer display flashes. It is obvious that the temperature is higher than display indicates. Turn off the power and on again and it displays 4 and 14 degrees and the compressor cuts in and brings the temperature down to setpoint. It seems after set point is achieved the compressor does not start again as temperature rises until supply voltage is removed and then reinstated.
