Samsung Scd107

Question

I have a Samsung SCD107 camcorder and I have trouble with the screen being black. I read one of your probelm responses that there was a defective CCD and that they would replace it. Were you talking about or Samsung and if you were how did you go about getting the information to get it fixed. I called Samsung and the guy told me that they have not ever issused any recalls for that model and I would have to pay to have it looked at. Please help me if you can. Thanks.
