Samsung VP D375Wi?

Question

Just got one of these thinking it was a good camera (£250!!)

When taking both video and photo images they come out really bad quality and grainy,a bit like taking a pic with a really bad/old mobile phone...does anyone have one of these and know what I can do to get a really good sharp pic?

make sure the lens is clean a , then make the picture or video size medium and have the quality at best that always works for me
